Notice of Introduction of Three-Stage Price Adjustment

Simply Self Storage and Budget Warehousing Unanderra wish to advise our customers that we will be introducing a three-stage price increase across selected storage units.

This adjustment is necessary to ensure we can continue to maintain our facilities to a high standard, invest in ongoing site improvements, and meet the rising costs associated with staffing, security, utilities, insurance, and general operations.

Over time, many customers have remained on heavily discounted or legacy rates for extended periods.

While we have been pleased to support our customers where possible, these discounted rates are no longer sustainable.

As part of this pricing review, long-term discounted rates will be progressively brought in line with current market pricing.

The three-stage approach has been implemented to minimize impact by allowing a gradual transition rather than a single substantial increase.

Customers will be given 6 weeks’ notice between each increase to decide if this is something that they can sustain.

Customers affected by this change will receive direct communication outlining the timing and details applicable to their storage agreement.

We remain committed to providing secure, well-maintained, and professionally managed storage facilities, and we appreciate you’re understanding as we make these necessary adjustments to ensure the continued quality and reliability of our services.

At Simply Self Storage, we are committed to providing secure, reliable, and competitively priced storage solutions across all our locations. In order to continue maintaining our high standards of service, security, and facility upkeep, we have implemented a scheduled storage fee adjustment that applies to all customers.

🔒 Why Do Our Prices Increase?

Like many businesses, our operational costs—including insurance, utilities, security, staffing, and ongoing facility maintenance—are subject to regular increases. To ensure we can continue to offer a high level of service, we apply a modest and transparent 5% rental fee increase every 6 months from the date of your initial agreement.

This pricing policy allows us to:

Maintain 24-hour CCTV surveillance and security measures
Offer reliable after-hours access systems
Provide clean and well-maintained facilities
Ensure access to customer service support and flexible storage options
Invest in continual upgrades and safety improvements

📅 How Often Do Prices Increase?

All storage agreements are subject to a 5% increase every 6 months. This is calculated from the date of your move-in or the commencement of your lease. You will be notified in advance before any price adjustments take effect.

📬 Advance Notification

We understand the importance of financial planning. That’s why we ensure at least 42 days’ written notice is sent to all customers prior to a scheduled increase. Notices will be sent via email and/or mail, depending on your communication preference.
